Mission: Ne Me'e Laua Na Paio - Heroes & Villains
Location: Sick Bay
Timeline: 12/28/2388

The familiar atmosphere of sick bay greeted Juan as he stepped through the doorway and took a look around. Everything here seemed to be more or less normal, which is exactly what he was looking for after the previous day's excitement. Just pop in for a minute, and leave with a clean bill of health, nice and simple and then he could move on to the other low-impact items on his itinerary. with this in mind he cast about for the nearest free attendant.

"Now remember to take three of them every night for a week if you ssstart getting an itch call me right away." The gorn said to another patient as he came out of one of one of the private rooms. Noting the human at the front desk he walked slowly over. " Lieutenant Juan Zamora isssn't it? Here for your medical checkup?" The gorn said as he offered his hand.

Juan kept his expression carefully neutral as he looked up into the doctor's glassy eyes and reached out to shake hands. "Correct on both counts, will I need an appointment?" He'd never met a Gorn in person before.

"No, i'm free at the moment. Ssstep this way and we'll get thisss done." The reptile said as he gave the officer a firm hand shake before walking over to one of the biobeds.

"Excellent." Juan followed the doctor over to where he stood. "so, what shall we do first."

"Firssst thing'sss firssst have you sssufred any injuries or illness not on your medical profile?" The gorn inquired.

"Nothing aside from the occasional paper cut" Juan answered. "I went through a complex transporter procedure recently, but I haven't noticed any lasting effects."

"Good to know." The gorn said as he jotted something down on a padd. "Please take a ssseat on one of the bedsss and we'll get this done."

"Thank you, now fingers crossed it's all good news." Juan chattered, moving to take a seat.

"Ssshould't take too long. " The gorn replied as he started the computer. " So how are you finding the ssship?" He politely asked

"It is a fine vessel" Juan replied, "I can see why these Sovereigns are popular with their crews. Still, I come from the more peaceful side of the fleet, and it feels a bit cold to me without passengers on board."

"You sssshould hang around ssssickbay, commander. You sssseee all ssssortssss of people and meet the crew," hissed Sthilg.

"You know, I hadn't thought of that, maybe I'll take you up on the offer some time, a bit of good conversation is always welcome." He flashed a practiced grin up at the doctor.

"That issss true. Well, you sssseem to be of good health and ssssound mind. I am clearing you for duty."
