Mission: Ne Me'e Laua Na Paio - Heroes & Villains
Location: Doctor Sthilg's Quarters
Timeline: 1.5 Hours after combat

[ON]

[Deck 3 CMO Quarters]

Harry stood outside the missing Gorn Doctor's quarters, he tapped in the code that unlocked the door and allowed him to enter, as he and the two other security officers entered the room, he said," right Tim, i want you to check the bedroom, Mat the living room and I will go thorough his terminal,"

"Aye Sir" replied both the Security officers as they moved to their assigned tasks, Harry moved to the desk area where the Doctors terminal sat, He sat down in front of it and removed a small device from his belt that held his sidearm and connected it up to the Terminal and began to crack the doctors codes and access and download all the files so that they could be transmitted to SFI for analysis. within a few minutes the device pinged to let him know that the data had been collected and he detached the device from the terminal.

Just then Tim called," Sir, I think I might have found something" as Harry pocketed the device back into the compartment in his side arm's holster, as he rose from the chair and headed into the bedroom to find Tim holding a small device, one that looked similar to the one he had just used on the terminal but in a different shape and design which was made by another major power. He thought ' Dam this now is really bad ' as he said to Tim " Bag and tag it Tim"

Now he knew that the Doctor had been bought and knew that the ships shield frequency had been leaked by the Doctor to their enemies and that the Captain would have to be made aware of this. He continued " Both of you keep looking whilst I have to inform the Captain of some vital information regarding the ship" as he tapped his combadge =/\= Stevens to the Captain, I need to speak with you urgently=/\=

=/\= Very well, I am in my Ready Room =/\= Akio replied.

As Tim handed Harry the bag that held the device, he wondered when the Doctor had been given this and how long had he been divulging the ships secrets to those that wanted to destroy them, He knew the Captain was going to be mad as hell when he found out that someone he trusted had betrayed him. He said=/\= I'm on my way Sir=/\= as he closed the channel and began to head towards the door.

"Hey Sir" One called. "Shall we meet you at Transporter Room Two, after you see the Captain?. We still didn't check the transporter settings"

"Good thinking Tim "replied Harry looking at the officer in front of him, "I'll see you later" Harry nodded to the two other security guards as he exited the doctors quarters and made his way towards the nearest turbolift and wondered just how the Captain was going to take this news and he also hoped that Winchester had checked the Doctors office, if not he would have to search it himself.

As he turned the corner and passed a few of his fellow crewmembers, Harry wondered what could have made the Officer do something like this, as he noticed a couple of crewmembers exiting the lift, " Can you hold that lift for me please" He called as he didn't want to keep the Captain waiting. as he ran towards the waiting lift and made it just as the last crewmember had exited the lift, he said "Thank a lot," as the doors closed behind him.

after he got his breath back, Harry said "Bridge" as the lift started to move, he looked at the device in his hand and wondered what was held upon it and should he try and access it and give it to SFI? as he pondered the question.


-5 minutes later-

[Bridge - Captain's Ready Room]

Harry stepped out onto the bridge and headed over to the doors that led to the Captain's ready room, He then straightened his uniform and then pressed the door chime to let the Captain know that he was outside.

"Enter!" Akio commanded.

"Sir, I have some very bad news" replied Harry as he walked into the Ready room, and knew that the Captain was not going to like what he had to say at this point, as he came to a halt in front of the Captain's desk.

"Based on your communication earlier, I knew it was urgent... what is it?" Akio asked.

"It seams Sir that the Doctor Sthilg has sold the shield frequency of every Starship including ours to our enemies," replied Harry, as he placed the bagged small device upon the table to the Captain to see. He finished, " With this"

"What is this and how do you know that?" Akio asked, skeptical. After the Carson debacle, he wanted to know every fact related to enemy collusion. Was he derelict in his duties for failing to detect it?

"Sir, I believe that this is a type of device for cracking codes when used on another computer," replied Harry as he knew what it was, as he himself carried one. He continued "We also found evidence on his terminal in his quarters and are also looking at Transporter room 2"

Akio paused. What was the best way to ask this without incriminating himself? "Ensign, before we start bringing charges, has a forensic computer analysis been conducted on this device yet?"

"Not yet Sir, but I do plan on running one on it," replied Harry looking back at the Captain, He continued" I will make the results known to you Sir," as he now had a big problem how to do this without stepping on Winchesters toes.

"Yes, I would be very interested in seeing those results," Akio said most seriously. "Anything else to report?"

"Lieutenant Winchester was disrespectful to those in Sick-bay Sir whilst gaining information from CPO Wilson," replied Harry as he continued "Which leads us to Transporter room 2" as he knew what ever they found there might be useful.

Great. An investigator that couldn't hold his temper, Akio thought although was a bit amused considering his own temper.

"I see... what about transporter room two?" Akio asked.

"It seems that he might of used it to escape after he knocked over Chief Wilson, who ended up with concussion" replied Harry looking back at the Captain, He continued" We will find out if he beamed to another ship or used it to kill himself,"

"Ah, yes. We were aware he used the transporter," Akio confirmed. "Let us hope he did not take the coward's way out, although I would not blame him for taking his own life, if he is indeed a traitor."

"That's what we intend to find out Sir," replied Harry looking back at the Captain, " I will also let you know the findings on that as well," he continued knowing that it was best to keep the Captain in the loop.

"I appreciate the update," Akio said. "If there is nothing else, dismissed."


[Deck 14 Transporter Room Two]

One of the Security Officers were waiting for Stevens when he arrived. "We've got a Transporter Tech already sir, my partner's in there with them. They are checking it over but we warned them not to change anything. "

"So what have they found ?" Asked Harry Looking back at the officer, as he knew that now the Captain knew the situation, He would be letting the CEO know who would not be happy about trying to reset the shields Frequency to stop what the Doctor had done.

"Dunno sir, they didn't touch anything" The officer replied and led the way through the door.

The other officer and a Technician were stood by the transporter control panel and looked over when they came in.

"Tell Mister Stevens what you just told me" The Officer said

"Well, the transporter was in auto shut down" The Technician began, "Which kicks in after six minutes if it's left activated. I restarted it and checked the last transporter log and the pattern buffer and that's where things don't make sense. "

"You see according to the log the last time it was activated was about two hours ago, probably right before we were in combat. But the pattern buffer is empty and the rematerialize coordinates are all still at zero."

"Basically, somebody turned it on, started up the dematerialize sequence, but didn't put in a location and according to the buffer nothing was transported. " The man shrugged, "If you're asking me, I don't think anyone actually used it"

"So what your basically telling me is that either he used the transporter to kill himself" replied Harry looking at the transporter tech, he continued" Or he is still on the ship," as now this was a Man hunt or more correctly a Gorn hunt.

The Tech scratched his chin in thought. "Huh, well, yeah I guess so. The pattern buffer is empty, he's not still in there, so if he did leave it wasn't via this transporter. Where he is though, I really don't know"

One of the Security Officers looked to Stevens. "What now sir?"

"Now we Search the Doctor's Office and we get the internal sensors to scan for Gorn" Replied Harry looking back at his two officers, He continued" But be mindful of those in Sick-bay" as he didn't want another run in with Nurse O'Halloran again.

"Aye Sir" replied both the Security men.

"Er Sir..." The Technician offered "I heard what you said, about doing an internal sensor sweep. Only the Sensor maintenance bay, on Deck 10 took a hit during the battle.

We pretty much only have external sensors functioning right now. I don't think we have the parts to get all of the internal ones back up until we get to Xavier." He shrugged "Sorry..."

"Dam," replied Harry who was not liking this one bit, He continued" Right then All Security officers that are off duty, I want them Serching this ship from top to bottom," as he knew that he had to find the Doctor and bring him in.

As the two Security guards knew that now Harry was not happy and ment overtime for all members of the department, they replied" Aye Sir,"
