Harry entered the K9 area to speak with the commander of the K9 Division to get the dogs to look for the Gorn doctor, he knew that dogs had a very good sense of smell and if the internal sensors were offline what better task for them to do. He noticed a Chief Warrant officer talking to an owner and their dog and walked over to them.

"Hi May I help you?" asked the female chief warrant officer as Harry approached her.

“Ah Chief Kelly, I need your help from you and your dogs,” replied Harry looking back at the officer in front of him. He noticed one of the dogs standing near her, Harry got down on one knee and said gently “Hi there, I’m Harry” as he gently held his hand out so the dog could sniff his hand knew he was a friend.

“Ensign, May I ask what brings you down here?” asked Isabella, as she watched Harry try and make friends with the dog. She continued “I have left messages with the Security Chief to come and meet with me," she remembered the last few weeks of hearing nothing from the Department head.

"Ah," responded Harry, "I was unaware that you wanted to see me," he continued as he waited for the dog to sniff his outstretched hand. He finished," I have been busy with an investigation that requires your help," as the dog crept slowly forward.

“My help Sir?” replied Isabella.

“Yes, Your help," replied Harry. "It seems that the ship's CMO Doctor Sthilg might have sold classified information to a foreign power," he stated as the dog started to sniff him and then retreated. Harry then stood up and started to brush himself down as Isabella started to speak.

“…and you want the dogs to find him if he is still on the ship?” asked Isabella watching him with the dog, she continued “I would have to clear it with the Security Chief, Ensign,”

Harry stated “I'm afraid chief that Lieutenant Winchester has been reassigned to the fleet yards," he continued," So the Captain promoted me to the position of Security chief," giving her a grin.

Isabella replied," All the dogs are ready to go, Sir," looking back Harry as he got back to his feet and began to dust himself down, She continued," We will find him, sir, My dogs won't let you down,"

"Good keep me informed chief," replied Harry as he gave her a friendly wave as he turned to head out the door, suddenly a German Shepard wandered up to him and started to nuzzle against him, he looked down at the dog and said "Hello there," as he started to stroke the dogs head, He asked," Chief Who is this?"

Isabella looked back at Harry and noticed him making a fuss of another German Shepard, "Oh that's Lady Sif, She hasn't got anyone Yet," she continued," But it looks like she has chosen you to look after her,"

"Me!" exclaimed Harry looking back at Isabella, he continued "I'm very busy, I don't have the time to look after a dog," as he looked down at Sif who looked back up at him giving him the take me home eyes. "Harry replied," Don't look at me like that," as Sif cocked her head to one side allowing him to stroke under her chin.

"Well, she seems to like you, Sir," replied Isabella as Sif started to rub her head against Harry's leg, She asked," Shall I put you down as her new owner Sir?" as Sif lied down upon the floor after Harry had stopped scratching her head.

"Are you telling me chief that no one owns Lady Sif?" replied Harry looking back at Isabella, He continued, "If so how did she get on the ship?" as he knew that Starfleet had sent the dogs with their handlers, had her handler gone missing that was the question.

"well, as of now Sir, she is your dog," replied Isabella as she brought over a PADD containing the list of supplements and the dogs working harness. Isabella continued," I will have her logged on shortly as on duty," as she handed the PADD to Harry and then began to kneel on the floor to show Harry how to strap the harness onto the dog.

Sif stood up and took her place at Harry's side, Harry replied," Very well Chief," as he looked down at his new K9. He said "come on then Sif, we have work to do," as they were about to exit the K9 division area, Isabella called out to them both.

"You might want to speak with Lieutenant Aldana who has two Dogs that might be helpful," she stated as Harry now knew his next port of call, as both of them exited the room to find the Lieutenant.
