| General Overview | Tyler has a very deeply ingrained sense of loyalty and honor. When events cause him to question which loyalties he should follow it causes him a large amount of internal confusion. He will stand by any decision he makes and will defend it strongly if challenged. To him his family is one of the most important things in his life. His loyalty to it is rivaled only by his devotion to the Federation and its cause. While he would be considered to be a patriot in regards to the Federation, he is not a programmed automaton. He thinks and acts for himself, while his loyalty and duty give purpose to his life. He has a very strong drive to prove himself to everyone important in his life. He broke the family tradition by joining the Fleet instead of joining the Marines as generations of the men in his family had done before him. To a certain degree he feels that he is looked down on by his father and grandfather for not following in their steps. He pushes himself harder than anyone else can and is proportionately harder on himself for his mistakes than his superiors are. He knows he cannot be perfect, but does his best to be as close to it as possible. He has pushed himself to be in the best physical condition he can. He exercises and lifts weights extensively and is in exceptional physical shape and trains extensively in several martial arts, both Terran and otherwise. |

| Ambitions | Professionally, Tyler had never thought of taking the command career path. He'd always enjoyed his work in Security and had planned to remain there, with the hope of eventually becoming Chief of Security for a starship or starbase. However, with his assignment as first, Officer in Charge, and subsequently Commanding Officer, he's learned that he enjoys Command as well. For the time being he is content with where he is, but may eventually wish to command another, larger vessel. | |

| Personal History | Tyler grew up on a colony world. It wasn’t the easiest childhood, growing up on a colony that was only just starting out. His father was one of the few Federation officers on the colony, his mother was one of the doctors, the only one for the first few years. The community itself was tight knit, and his parent’s closest friends were essentially surrogate aunts and uncles for Tyler and his sister. It was from this extended family that Tyler learned a lot about duty, honor, and morality. He was always told growing up to do the right thing, even when it’s the more difficult path. It was a long-standing family tradition to join the Marines. However, since his family was so entrenched and well known in the Marines, Tyler opted to join Starfleet and entered the Security division. He knew that if he had gone into the Marines he would have forever been overshadowed by his grandfather, Brigadier General Mike Fallon and his father Major John Fallon as well as his aunt Major Mika Fallon. Even though he had entered Starfleet he still had to set himself apart from his family. His family name was well known in both the Corps as well as the Fleet. Tyler set out to distinguish himself on his own from the day he entered the Academy and in the short four years since he graduated has already propelled himself to the rank of Lieutenant. |
