Complaining-a Klingon pastime.

Mission: He ho'omaka hou 'ana - A New Beginning
Location: Arthur's Quarters-USS Hawaii
Timeline: After returning to the ship

Arthur entered his quarters and crossed over to where his stuff was in a semi-neat pile. After digging through it momentarily, he came up with the half empty bottle of Bloodwine he had acquired the day he graduated from the academy.

He walked over to the desk terminal, and opened up a com channel. "Call the IKS Kotugh." After yelling at the computer and bouncing signal off of several comm arrays, he finally got it to go through.

"Arthur! I was wondering when you'd call, how are you settling in on your ship?" Ruk asked after answering the call, and after spotting the bloodwine, chuckled. "That bad?"

Arthur growled, it was true he rarely drank bloodwine unless he was having a bad day, but sometimes his father was overly observant. "I'm confined to the ship pending the outcome of an investigation."

"What did you do?"

"I was down on the planet the ship is currently orbiting, and I found another member of the crew. Well I was going to be nice and join her in heading to the rest of the crew, but she insulted my honor. I pulled not only my Dk'tahg, but I ended up pulling my phaser on her as well."

Ruk gave a hearty laugh, "see, this is why I advised against you going Starfleet. They're nothing but trouble."

Arthur poured himself a warm mug of Bloodwine, and sipped at it. "Not to mention if I wanted to, I could've resisted against the security officer, but I had sent my Bat'leth up to the ship ahead of me, and he had backup."

"Don't ruin your career before it starts." Ruk changed topics, "the High Council wants to send us to patrol the border too, but the lack of ships available to defend Qo'noS has the Chancellor worried."

Arthur rolled his eyes. "Of course they want to send the only Vor'cha with the best commander to the frontlines when the Gorn just rose up!" He snorted.

"Besides the one Pet'aQ you already told me about, any other problems arise?"

The two complained about various things for the next 2 hours, until Ruk had to get off the call because of battle.
