Mission: Ne Me'e Laua Na Paio - Heroes & Villains
Location: Engineering
Timeline: After "Almost KIA"

Iria walked back into engineering after talking with the Captain about her status and such. Now she figured talking with her immediate superior was the next best idea. She headed for the CEO's office and rang the chime and waited.

There was no answer for quite some time, it seems also that the office was dimmed in the light. Maybe there was no one present?

Iria was nothing if not curious, she paused and entered the office and spoke aloud, "Hello?" her eyes searched the darkened interior, her expression alert but not concerned, she figured maybe the CEO was working on something that was bright light sensitive.

Still no response from within the office, no sound or movement was noticeable for the Lieutenant. Until... a young lady walks into the office, no visible rank and uniform was a mess. The woman stopped as her eyes looked from her PADD towards Iria "Oh great..."She stated in a sarcastic voice.

Iria blinked up at the taller woman, her expression turning even more openly curious at the not so greeting comment. "Good morning, I wanted to introduce myself to you, if you are indeed Lieutenant Kosu? I am your new assistant, Iria Taltos."

Dropping her gear on the messy desk that had parts and pieces of consoles as she grabs a cloth to wipe her hands "New assistant, Akio loves to get new folks in and does not even think about how I feel" She said not looking at Iria turning even away from the Lieutenant and grabbing another PADD to type something in "Lights on normal" The office lights go back onto normal standards

Iria blinked at the brightening of the lights in the office, she got the sinking feeling that the CEO really didn't want her to be there but, she was and hopefully after a chance or two they might actually get along. "Well if there is something I can help you with or something you want me to focus on for the repair schedule please let me know, again my name is Iria." she stressed the point since to her personally she really hated being addressed by her rank. It changed so much she was never certain when she was actually being spoken too.

Stopping with typing as Deeli heard her golden escape from something as she looked at Iria "Deeli Kosu, but please call me Kosu," She finally spoke out on a more calming voice "You want to do something? Take those." Pointing at a pile of PADDs "And review them, answer them and make them disappear for all I care." The PADDs were engineering personnel review sessions and request for leave or other things that required Deeli to 'interact' with them. Some were dating back to actually the first day she started as Chief.

Iria picked up the stack of PaDD's with a cheeky grin, "I can do that no problem. Thank you and see you around Kosu." she headed for the doorway, "Do you happen to tinker with old stuff or just regular engineering repairs?" she asked as she stood in the doorway.

"I tinker with everything that is related towards engineering and the development of it. I design new models and implant them on my own terms" Not looking at Iria "So if you find things that do not belong there or are unknown to you, do me a favor and don't touch it" Looking over her shoulder towards Iria "If you try to find me...try a Jeffery tube, I am crawling through them to fix things or ...upgrade them"

Iria nodded her head, that was usually whetted Iria did when she was on Varient station or Wyoming but now things had changed, she figured she might actually bump into her new boss more often than she was used too. "Well if you ever want to join me I like restoring old things like a GT Shelby car and such." Iria offered lightly but she had a feeling that Kosu would not be interested.

An old piece of technology, maybe this person had some hope for her career. Deeli did not respond and continued her work on some upgrades that required her attention. She heard her assistant leave and felt some weight lifted from her shoulders, knowing that someone else was doing personnel request. "Akio, expect an update to your replicator mate.." She smirks as Deeli grabs a PADD with schematics of the replicator system.
