Mission: Hahai i na pilikua nui - Hunting Monsters
Location: Holodeck
Timeline: to be determined

With most things Iria tended to prefer a bit of friendly competition and when she was doing a round of parkour it was no different. She thought over the folks she'd interacted with recently and figured that if nothing else she could learn a bit more about Nila Anyi.

Iria sat at ease on the edge of a banister beside a long climb of stairs. She was dressed in a close fitted shirt of teal and silver and black pants. Her shoes were black tennis shoes with red and silver laces.

Nila wasn't sure why Iria had requested her presence again, first, it was some mystery to solve and now some kind of Earth game she remembered hearing about growing called parkour. Being the stubborn person she was Nila arrived at the holodeck still dressed in full uniform. "What do you need Lieutenant Taltos?" Her trademark grumpy was present in her voice.

Iria grinned cheekily, "I wanted to see if you might like to have a bit of a race through one of the easier parkour ranges but if you'd rather not I will let you be and maybe try again some other time." She was used to dealing with grouchy attitude coming from Deelie Kosu it didn't tend to phase Iria unless she was told point blank to back off.

Nila raised an eyebrow, "What's the point of parkour?" for once she wasn't being grumpy she was actually curious about it.

Iria smiled again, "It's a free form of exercise, using running, climbing, jumping gymnastics and other means of movement over obstacles that you normally get to use. I do it for fun myself to see how far I can go. There's different types of landscapes and even courses for it."

"But why?" Nila questioned as she wondered why something so tedious would interest someone. She simply shrugged, "Alright what do I do?"

Iria laughed softly, "Why? It's fun, trying different things than regular, and why not?" She shrugged slightly, then grinned cheekily at the taller Bajoran woman, "Well if you don't want to risk getting a pulled muscle make sure you at least stretch a bit." Iria hopped up and launched herself at the next landing's railing, secured herself upon it, standing up again, with a Cheshire cat grin at Nila she added, "I will try to not taunt you to much."

"You can taunt Miss Taltos takes more than words to phase me." Nila began by lifting her left leg up and pulling it towards her chest. "I believe that we have different definitions of fun." Lowering her leg she examines Iria. "You are different then most humans I've met."

"Games fun and burning up restless energy besides if I don't let loose here I piss off others while working." Iria retorted as she ran up the railing, while not adding to the rest of Nila's comment. She looked down at the Bajoran woman with another Cheshire grin from the next landing, "Next time I invite you I will wait and stretch with you," she jogged back down the railing and two leaps down brought her to the ground level a foot from Nila's position.

"Well, I think I can beat you in pissing someone off." Nila pushes off a railing and grabs her hands to a hanging platform, pulling herself up she looks down at Iria. "Have you pissed off a Captain so bad you got demoted and then transferred away?"

Iria laughed as she ran up and passed Nila, "Story of my career thus far been demoted and transferred, so many times I have officially stopped counting." Though admittedly she hadn't yet gotten demoted while being part of the Hawaii thus far. Knowing her luck it was only a matter of time before that did happen though. She was bound to piss off the wrong person at the wrong time.

"If you know what you are doing then a Captain should put his or her trust in you to do your job, sadly my last Captain didn't agree with that. Captain Tachibana so far has let me do my job. I can say honestly he is okay so far." Nila pushed off a wall to grab the next ledge to catch up to Iria.

"Captain Tachibana is one of the more open minded Captain's I have met," she ran across the landing and then climbed up to the next ledge hanging there a moment before finishing her climb to the next level of stairs and watched Nila catching up with what looked like ease.

"I can't say much, I've only had one real talk with the Captain," Nila replied jumped down to a lower platform, she shock a little almost losing her balance on the landing.

Iria stayed put a moment watching her, "For someone not knowing about parkour you're pretty good, as far as actually speaking with him I think I have had five or six conversations with him. He has earned my trust, that's good enough for me, personally."

"Just because the occupation ended when I was young doesn't mean they still didn't drill guerrilla tactics, military drills, and things like this into me." Nila answered stepping off of the ledge and hitting the ground softly. "He seems good but I can't say for sure, too early yet."

Iria nodded and then too off running lightly across the landing towards the next level, "Always best to figure out for yourself." Having others opinion never hurt but the final choice was always best made by each person.

"Well only I can choose how I feel about people," Nila added her arms crossed now that she was back on the ground. "So what's your game Iria? You always seem to be pranking or joking, why is that?"

Iria laughed shaking her head, "Take your best guess I am not ready to admit or deny anything to you yet. Time will tell though."

"Becuase you enjoy pestering people?" Nila asks as she leans against a wall focusing on chatting now.

Iria thought about it a moment, "I don't want to pester but yes I like to play around with folks. If anyone tells me that it bothers them I back off." She stated lightly.

"Makes sense," Nila replied. "What's the worst thing you've done to someone. Joking wise?"

Iria eyed the taller Bajoran woman with a Cheshire smile, "Well I once used ribbons hair dye and seasonal decorations for trees to make my roommate's hair look like a Christmas tree because she had tried to cut my hair while I was reading."

"I see, well she is lucky to have you and not me as a roommate. I would have fried everything electronic she owned, she would have had to do things the old fashion way for a bit then."

Iria smiled another Cheshire smile, "Well seeing as she was engineering inclined it wouldn't have been worth it she would have fixed most of the fried things in a few days. But thanks for the heads up on how you would have gotten revenge." She took off running towards the doorway, "Come on I will buy you a drink in the lounge since you've humored my parkour and banter."

Nila tilted her head all this talk about jokes and now she wanted to go get drinks. Everything was telling her to walk away in the other direction but something stopped her as he mouth betrayed her. "Alright..."
