Location: Somewhere in a Jefferies Tube
Timeline: after meeting Ren on the Bridge
After meeting with Ren on the Bridge and doing a quick inspection of the CiC, Ahressa remembered the promise she had made to the CMO Stihlg, to talk to Engineering about an update packet for the Sovereign specialized Medical programs.
"Computer, location of Lieutenant Kosu?"

"Fabulous." Ahressa's tone and facial expression reflected the sarcasm of her reply.
Ahressa made her way down to Deck 22. She then made her way to the closest Jefferies Tube access point to 45-B and slipped inside. Soon enough she was on all fours crawling through the Tube, making sure her focus was on Nimh Ahressa the Operations Chief and her Medical program conundrum and nothing else.
Having been trained in anti psionic modus operandi, she knew how to structure her thoughts to project only what she wanted to, to avoid suspicion and avoid giving thoughts and feelings away.
"Prophets, I'm getting too old for this crap." She muttered as she knocked her knee yet again on a bulk head seal.
Being cut away from all the people was actually what Deeli needed for a moment. She had an Assistance that could run the Department while she was off doing what was needed. Getting to know the ship was a primary task for Deeli to perform "Come on girl...don't you dare to hold secrets on me" She mutters.
Then some sound came from the bulkhead as her head looked up towards it. The room had the gravity standard on zero as that was more comfortable for her to work in "What now....they could just use communications. Or did I break that?" Looking back into the panel to see if its okay.
"No no. It's just someone who forgot I could use the comm system to ask what I needed, so I came on foot. You're Kosu, no?" Ahressa chuckled as she crawled out from the Tube. "I'm Nimh, I run Ops."
Deeli did not look at her as Nimh spoke to her "I am, you have sharp ears" She said and looked over her shoulder towards the tube. Another person that requires her attention, Deeli did her best to stay focus and not drop into social withdrawal "What....What can I do for you, Lieutenant?"
"I was wondering how the program update packages are going? I was in Sickbay earlier and their programs are still running their base versions. The Galaxy ones. On a Sov system, they are, well, somewhat slow, as you know." Nimh said, studying the young woman curiously.
Pulling out some wires of the system "I am checking every system one by one Lieutenant" Deeli said as she pulls out some cards and some red lights started to blimp in the room as she puts it back as if nothing happens "When I cross it, I update it. If it is urgent...I...you can ask one the assistance of another engineer" She tried to avoid the idea to ask her staff something.
Social anxiety? Ahressa wondered as she watched the young woman. "It's also a professional courtesy to talk to the boss first, Ms. Kosu. I didn't want you to think I was encroaching on your territory."
Tapping her finger on the metal wall as Deeli shrugs at the word Boss. Taking a deep breath "Understandable, I ...personally don't mind Lieutenant" Deeli looked at her and wonders if there were other things that Ahressa needed from her and then remembers "Deeli Kosu, Chief Engineer...." Deeli thought that it was more formal to state it.
"Nimh Ahressa, Chief of Operations." the bajoran nodded at the betazoid, putting all her belief behind her current persona. "Should I talk to one of your people then about setting up the updates for one of these days?"
Giving a soft nod towards her "Yea, I am still handling the system reviews and what needs to be repaired in a more efficient way" Deeli looked back at the system before her and put its the card back and pushes the system back into the wall "If you need anything else from my point, please do ask. I believe Ops and Engineering should be working closely in such big ship."
"I agree, Lieutenant. I'll head down to Engineering and talk to your people." Ahressa nodded, and began shifting a little so that she could more easily turn around and go back the way she came. "And if you need anything from Ops, please don't hesitate to ask."
Scratching behind her ear as she looked at the panel "Oh, don't worry Lieutenant I will" Keeping her left hand fingers crossed out of view of the Lieutenant "Have a nice day.. I swear this was in there..." She mutters not hearing Ahressa leave.
